Visiting the baby
Dear readers. Cookie is proudly to talk about Berries little nephew Henk. He is very sweet and likes Me googly-eyes. Well Me think he does, cos he was staring at Me eyes the other day.
Today Me present me report from the babybox. Baby Henk is real sweet and a beautiful baby.
Me would like to eat chocolate chip cookie as a treat, but Me got something else. It is called 'beschuit met muisjes'. Me didn't know what it was! The 'muisjes' tasted like anise - it tasted very good, sometimes Me eat cookies with warm milk and anise - and were blue and white. 'Beschuit' is a hard, crunchy bread. Like cracker, but softer. And it is round, like cookie, but it is crunchier. Me liked it! It seems to be tradition to eat such a crunchy breadcookie with muisjes. Although they didn't look exactly like mouses...
Me haven't hugged baby Henk yet. Not that Me don't want to... Berry is holding him everytime we are here. And Baby Henk seems to like it! Maybe when Baby Henk gets a bit bigger, me and him can go on picture together!
Well... bye bye for now! Next week I am back with a story about Dutch winters... And how WET you can get in them!
